Mehsana, July 7 (KNN) The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has signed an agreement with the Ganpat University to conceptualise, design and run certificate programmes to meet the market requirements.

The two partners will work together to develop unskilled and semi-skilled manpower on the road to cater to the workforce requirements of various industries and sectors.

Brijesh Merja, Minister of State for Labour, Skill Development and Employment was present at the MoU signing ceremony.

Ganpat University's President Dr Ganpat Patel said,“Being 'out of box' thinkers, the university has always walked on unpaved roads and created opportunities for students, industries and contributed to the nation's development.”

Prof Mahendra Sharma, Pro-Chancellor & Director General of Ganpat, said,“India is not just a labour market for the world. We have great talent for white collar jobs in emerging technologies also. With this foundation, we would like to contribute significantly to make India the Skill Development Capital of the World.”

Advocacy & International Relations, Rakesh Kumar, State Engagement Coordinator for Gujarat and Uday Shroff, BoG member J S Patel, Member of the Trust Sombhai Rayka, Pro VC & Executive Registrar Dr Amit Patel, amongst others.
