Strong Winds Expected On First Two Days Of Eid: Met

Strong winds are expected in the country on the first two days of Eid al-Fitr, the Qatar Met department has said. The department has issued a special forecast on this occasion.
According to the forecast for the first day (May 2), strong winds are expected in some places inshore during the daytime, and later in the north offshore along with high seas.
The winds will be mainly northwesterly with a speed of 5-15 knots, which may go up to 23 knots in some places inshore during the daytime. Offshore, the wind speed will be 7-17 knots, reaching 23 knots towards the north later, with the sea level rising to 7ft.
The temperature in Doha is expected to range from 26-36C today.
The forecast for the second day (May 3) says strong winds are again expected in some places daytime along with high seas offshore.
The winds will be mainly northwesterly with a speed of 5-15 knots, which may go up to 20 knots in some places inshore during the daytime. Offshore, the wind speed will be 13-23 knots, reaching 28 knots at times, with the sea level rising to 9ft.
The temperature in Doha is also expected to range from 26-36C tomorrow.
