Haidar stressed the importance of the MoU for the potential exchange of knowledge and expertise, particularly in the training, science, and research. The cooperation pledge between the two parties is an example of the partnership between academic and healthcare organizations in both countries, the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, aimed at improving training standards for pharmacy graduates and empowering them with the knowledge and skills in various pharmacologic domains to be able to excel in their future career.

Dr. Moza Al Hail stated that pharmacy students will be trained as per the highest academic and the professional principles applied at pharmacies across HMC facilities under the supervision of highly-trained and experienced pharmacists, where the students will be qualified and able to add value to the healthcare sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The duration of training depends on the needs of the Corporation, the requirements of the Licensing Committee at the Ministry of Public Health, or the specific needs of trainees. The Corporation saves no effort to provide training for students affiliated with local or global partner universities and colleges in all clinical, healthcare, and administrative domains and in conformance to the best practices in medical professions applicable in Qatar.
