(MENAFN- UkrinForm) An online discussion on 'Crimes against the Environment during the War' (Zoom) will take place on March 29 at 11:00.
Organizers : Center for Environmental Initiatives NGO 'Ecodiya'; Commission on Journalistic Ethics.
Speakers : Roman Shakhmatenko - Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine; Yevhenia Zasyadko - Head of the Climate Department of the NGO 'Ecodiya', Oleksiy Vasyliuk - Head of the NGO 'Ukrainian Environmental Group'; Iryna Chernysh is the head of the SafeDnipro NGO.
Moderator : Oleksiy Pogorelov - President of the Ukrainian Association of Media Business, member of the Commission on Journalistic Ethics.
Questions for discussion :
- Why is it also important to record war crimes against the environment during the war?
- The first results of war crimes against the environment in Ukraine in the first month of the war;
- Analysis of the situation in the nature reserve fund and what awaits nature after the war; and
- Explain the process of collecting crimes against the environment and SaveEcoBot tools for collecting crimes and viewing data on fires and radiation pollution in real time.
