Iranian exports from Zanjan registers increase of 108 percent


(MENAFN) According to an Iranian provincial official statement, the exports worth from Zanjan province soared 108 percent in the period from March 21 to 2021-February 19, 2022 of the present Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

Mir-Hashem Seyed-Ahmadi, the director-general of the province’s customs administration, set the exports worth from Zanjan at USD489.04 million during the mentioned time frame, and at USD235.53 million in the parallel time period of the past year.

He mentioned zinc ingots, transformers and accessories, lead ingots, Polypropylene, nuts and dairy products as a few of the main exported products and stated that Turkey, China, Iraq, UAE, Russia, Pakistan, India, Oman, Uzbekistan and Georgia were the 10 nations to which the essential items of the province were exported, among which Turkey with 50 percent stake that values USD244.317 million that topped the list.
