Ukraine - Donetsk MCRA refutes capture of Mariupol

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Information about airborne landing and capture of the government-controlled town of Mariupol in Donetsk region is not true.
'I officially inform: the information about airborne landing and capture of Mariupol IS NOT TRUE,' Head of the Donetsk Military-Civil Regional Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Facebook.
According to him, the units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Mariupol put out the fire in a private house that erupted as a result of hostilities.
'At 06:43, the fire was localized on an area of 225 square meters. As a result of the shelling, one person (a woman) was injured and hospitalized. Previously, 7 residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling. The information is being clarified,' Kyryleneko noted. He added that, according to operative data, four civilians were injured in Mariupol, including one child, and they were receiving medical treatment.
He also said that the explosions were heard in Kramatorsk, the first ones – at 05:00.
As reported, the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, announced the start of a special military operation in Donbas.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky declared martial law throughout Ukraine.
