Ukraine, Lithuania to cooperate in cybersecurity

(MENAFN) The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy considers collaborating with Lithuania in the field of cybersecurity, specifically, in cyber-centers working under NEC Ukrenergo and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, reported Deputy Minister of Energy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Farid Safarov at a conference with spokespersons of the Lithuanian National cyber Security Centre, wrote Ukrinform in reference to the ministry of energy.
Safarov noted, “We are interested in cooperation in the energy sector, in particular at the level of our cybercenters operating on the basis of Ukrenergo and Naftogaz. This will help strengthen not only the cybersecurity of our countries, but also the security of the region as a whole.”
It is mentioned that the initial phase of collaboration among cyber-centers of Ukraine and Lithuania will contain the management of data exchange.
