Amman, Jan. 24 (Petra) -- The Public Security Directorate (PSD) denied reports that a Syrian girl inside the Zaatari camp had died due to the cold.
PSD spokesperson disregard as 'baseless' and 'untrue' information circulated via social media on the death of a Syrian girl the Zaatari camp due to the bitter cold.
The spokesperson called on the public not to re-publish news or information before referring to official sources, stressing that publishers of such fake news, which aim to stir panic and fear in Syrian refugee camps, will be pursued, identified and referred to court.
