Qatar - Palestinian Commission: Female Prisoners in Occupation Prisons Face Difficult Humanitarian Conditions

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said on Sunday that the female prisoners are still facing harsh and very difficult detention conditions in Damoun Prison.

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees explained, in a statement, that the prison administration practices the most horrific types of restrictions against female prisoners, by isolating them in cells unfit for human life, and depriving them of sleep for long hours, and also practices against them all kinds of psychological and physical restrictions.

The statement added that there are a number of female prisoners suffering from very difficult health conditions.

In the same context, the commission indicated that the repression units of the occupation prisons administration stormed Section 8 in Megiddo Prison and conducted a wide search campaign, including sabotaging the prisoners' property.
