Enormous potential in Qatar Tajikistan ties

Doha: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Qatar H E Khisrav Sohibzoda (pictured) praised the great achievements made by Qatar in various fields under the wise leadership of Amir H H sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, noting that Qatar is moving at a steady pace towards a bright future filled with great accomplishments.
In a statement to QNA on Qatar National Day, the Ambassador said that the progress made by Qatar in the fields of economy, investment, industry, transport, tourism, science and technology and others is commendable.
The Ambassador also expressed his happiness with Qatar's successes in achieving the goals adopted by Qatar National Vision 2030, in light of the comprehensive reforms that are being implemented at all economic and social levels, adding that all of this is of great importance in the process of achieving sustainable development.
The Ambassador added that Qatar's commercial and economic partners have expanded significantly in light of the raising position of Doha and its role in the development of economic cooperation regionally and internationally. He pointed out that the private sector has a prominent and clear role in achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision.
Regarding the development of relations between Qatar and Tajikistan, he stressed that the bilateral relations between the two countries underwent a great development since the signing of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1994. He noted that Tajikistan views Qatar as a developed country at the Middle East level and at the global level in general.
The Ambassador said that there are many opportunities and enormous economic potential, which can be built upon in order to deepen economic, trade and investment relations between Qatar and Tajikistan. He highlighted his country's aspiration that the coming period will witness more work from both sides to take advantage of the opportunities available.
