Biden states unemployment rate in US drops to over 2 percent


(MENAFN) On Friday, Joe Biden, the president of America stated that the unemployment level has dropped to over 2 percent, whereas American Economy provided about 6 million occupations since Biden took office this year.

Biden reported in a news conference hosted at the White House, "at this point, we are looking at the sharpest one-year decline in unemployment ever."

He stated, "the number of people claiming unemployment has fallen from 18 million when I took office to 2 million this week, another record drop."

Highlighting that US job rebound is going very strong, Biden noted American economy averaged almost 400,000 new occupations a month for the previous three months.

The president stressed that the significant fall in unemployment rate also involves improvements in employees who obtain higher salaries.
