(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, Dec 4, 2021, SPA -- The first session of pre-season testing of Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021 took place on Friday evening at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which precedes the penultimate round of Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021, within the 'Quality of Life' Program and is scheduled to start tomorrow, Sunday.
The results of the first pre-season testing witnessed the Briton Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes team taking the lead in the standings, followed by the Dutchman Max Verstappen of Red Bull team in second place and the Finnish Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes team in third place, while the rest of the results of the first pre-season testing were as follows:

The first test will start later today, Saturday at 05:00 PM, and will last for one hour only, to be followed by the qualifying round at 08:00 PM and will last for one hour as well, which will determine the final form of the main event on Sunday, in which the drivers will be classified according to the fastest time, as the race of Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021 will officially start at 7:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday.
