Taliban, Myanmar régime cannot join UN


(MENAFN) A UN group postponed a pronouncement on who is going to signify Afghanistan and Myanmar at the 193 members’ world organization.

The committee wants to submit its pronouncement on the identifications in these two states, Swedish UN Diplomat Anna Enestrom updated journalists following a private conference the General Assembly Credentials Committee ran by her.

The statement shows that the legislatures of the Afghan Taliban and Myanmar army régime cannot join the world organization yet.

The Credentials Committee that contains nine members, have to check the IDs of legislatures of member states and thereon inform the General Assembly.
