Libya: Gaddafi’s son intends to compete in governmental polls


(MENAFN) Local reporters stated that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of previous Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, gave his application to compete in next presidential poll.

Al-Marsad news website shared a video on facebook of Saif al-Islam in the office of the polls commission in the southwestern city of Sabha where he submitted his application, and he looks in the video wearing a Libyan traditional dress with a long white beard.

Libyan Political and governmental polls are planned to be on December 24, under an UN-sponsored contract signed up by Libya’s governmental competitors in conferences in Tunisia on November 15 last year.
