Taiwan delivers value and innovation at Fort Lauderdale international boat show

TAIWAN / MIAMI – Fort Lauderdale, Florida, recognized as the“Yachting Capital of the World opened the 62nd annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) October 27 – October 31, 2021, with the expectations fitting of the largest boat show in the world.

Taiwan, already edged in the world's top -10 yacht builder, Taiwan’s megayacht industry, building yachts 80 feet or more in length, is the largest in Asia and the fourth largest globally, presented innovation and continued growth at FLIBS.

Director-General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami, Amino Chi, attended FLIBS opening, viewed and interacted with participants while showcasing the Taiwanese stand.

This year, eight Taiwan companies are taking part in FLIBS, however, it is hoped that next year the pandemic could be under control and more Taiwanese companies can come to Fort Lauderdale and showcase Taiwanese yacht building technology to the world. Taiwan luxury yacht builders are known for great beauty and engineering are, however, thrilled to exhibit mid-size to superyachts, promoting Taiwan International Boat Show to take place March 10-13, 2022.

Taiwanese yacht builders have a reputation for quality engineering, innovation, and what the world has come to expect in the fulfilment of customisation, supplying leading brands in US markets, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean.

FLIBS is the greatest boat show on the seven seas. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and produced by Informa Markets, FLIBS is recognized as the largest in-water boat show in the world.

Located steps from the beach in sunny South Florida, FLIBS spans nearly 90 acres across three million square feet of exhibit space that is connected by an intricate network of water and ground transportation services.
