Merkel, who will hold power, went to visit Turkey for the 12th time on Saturday.

Merkel, who was a president since 16 years, became a European representative who know the significance of Turkey best for Europe.
She has always labeled Turkey as a "strategic important neighbor" and said that "dialogue and cooperation should always be made with Turkey in the light of mutual interests."
