Value of Iran’s exports from mining sector reaches USD5.088B in 5 months


(MENAFN) In the first five months of the current Iranian year, the worth of Iran’s exports from the mining sector amounted at USD5.088 billion, marking a 126 percent improvement in comparison to the number for the previous year same period.

According to IRNA, the official data revealed that Iran exported 21.978 million tons of the mentioned products to register an 11 percent increase in terms of weight.

During the period, steel chain products attributed for the biggest share of the exported products under review, with USD3.089 billion of products being shipped to foreign markets.

Exports of steel products marked a 176 percent improvement, followed by copper and copper products with USD621, 600 of exports and registering an 82 percent expansion annual.
