Indian Sports Centre felicitates Indian snooker team

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Indian Sports Centre (ISC), an apex body under the aegis of the embassy of India, hosted a felicitation ceremony in honour of the visiting Indian national snooker team on Thursday, at the Westin Hotel.
The Indian team had been visiting Qatar to participate in the Asian Snooker Championship 2021 and 6-Red World Cup. A 23-time world champion Pankaj Advani won both the event. India's youngest Asian snooker team championship gold medallist Laxman Rawat, Junior snooker player Ishpreet Singh, coaches and officials of the Indian team and other officials were felicitated by the ISC. Dr Mohan Thomas, President of ISC, highlighted the role of ISC in promoting sports among the Indian community.
