Iran's Parsian Gas Refining Company Boosts Output


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. gas processing at Iran's Parsian Gas Refining Company from the beginning of the Iranian year (March 20, 2024) to January 19, 2025, has increased by 11 percent compared to the previous period, Managing Director of the company, Alamdar Babaei, told reporters, Trend reports.

Babaei noted that during this period, 14 billion cubic meters of gas were processed and delivered to the country's gas network.

The official also mentioned that various programs are being implemented at the company's plant to maintain gas processing. He added that the company continues its operations to ensure the country's energy supply.

To note, Iran's Parsian Gas Refining Company operates under the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) in the southern Fars province. The company processes approximately 60 million cubic meters of gas and 20,000 barrels of gas condensate daily.

Additionally, Iran holds the world's second-largest natural gas reserves, with an estimated 34 trillion cubic meters, and currently has 22 active gas fields.
