(MENAFN) The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence advises that Parliament accept at second analysis the bill "On Prevention of Threats to National Security Related to Excessive Influence of Persons Who Have Significant Economic or Political Weight in Public Life (Oligarchs)".
On Friday, Sep. 17 the related resolution happened at a gathering of the committee, Iryna Vereshchuk, the head of the subcommittee on state security and defense of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, reported to Ukrinform.
She added that the Verkhovna Rada is aiming at thinking about the bill at a plenary gathering on Thursday, Sep. 23.
