Iran to target macroeconomic indicators in drafting next year’s national budget


(MENAFN) ILNA quoted the head of Iran’s Planning and Budget Organization (PBO) as saying that his will target macroeconomic indicators in out lining the coming year’s national budget.

Masoud Mirkazemi further declared that the new budget structure should be drawn and finalized once possible with the attendance of all provincial organizations and relevant agencies.

Mirkazemi also stated that “With the monthly monitoring of micro components, we will be able to control macroeconomic indicators to ensure the realization of the growth in such indicators.”

He added, it is essential to change development strategies in budget allocations, saying, "Development strategies created based on the distribution of oil revenues have made development approaches more complex and difficult and the thirteenth government is determined to reform these strategies.”
