Doha Institute celebrates graduation of Dual Executive Master's Degree students in Berlin

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI), in partnership with the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin, celebrated the graduation of the first and second cohorts of students of the Dual Executive Master's Degree in Business Administration and Public Administration.

The celebration comes after the unprecedented circumstances due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic, where the first cohort included 11 students, and the second 12 students.

Dr. Hamed Ali, Dean of the School of Public Administration and Development Economics (SPADE), led the delegation that represented DI at the ceremony. Dr Hamed congratulated the graduates on this well-deserved achievement and wished them a great future. Emphasizing that the relationship between the Institute and students does not end with their graduation, but rather continues to provide the necessary support, advice and aid to them.

The Dean expressed his gratitude to the German partner and reflected the will of the Doha Institute to continue, activate and strengthen this partnership, to ensure the development of the dual program and the achievement of its strategic objectives.

In the same context, Mohamed Aliter, Executive Programs Admin Supervisor praised the role of the ESMT in the success of this partnership and the graduation of the two cohorts, promising that the graduates from the program will continue to represent a real addition to the State of Qatar and the Arab region.

On the sideline, an agreement was signed between the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and European School of Management and Technology, to kick off the studies of the third cohort of students and strengthen the partnership in order to serve the mission and aspirations of DI. 

As part of the study abroad program, a visit to Berlin will be arranged for the new enrolled students.
