China’s dairy giant Yili net income surges 42 pct in Jan.-Jun. period


(MENAFN) In January-June period of 2021, China’s dairy giant in Inner Mongolia, Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd., recorded a 42.48 percent year-over-year net income expansion.

Yili, in its half-year financial report revealed at the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Tuesday that the company’s net income hit 5.32 billion yuan (around USD822 million) in the first six months of the year.

The dairy giant achieved proceeds of around USD8,74 billion, a rise by 18.89 percent year-over-year in the cited period.

According to the report, the proceeds contributed by the e-commerce industry surged by 21.8 percent year-over-year.
