Doha: Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality has seized foodstuffs prepared in unhygienic conditions in workers accommodation for violation of the law regulating human food control.
The Health Control Department received information that some people are preparing foodstuffs in one of the workers accommodation buildings in Al Khor area. Immediately, a team of health control inspectors and workers housing inspectors went to the site for inspection and seized foodstuffs prepared in unhygienic conditions inside the residence.
On questioning the person responsible for the activity admitted to preparing foods for the purpose of selling to individuals within the city of Al Khor.
Necessary measures were taken and a violation report was issued in accordance with the provisions of the Human Food Law.
