China: Logistics sector sees stable operation in first five months


(MENAFN)An industry report revealed that China's logistics sector saw stable operation in the first five months of the year as the country's financial system preserved revival drive.

According to a statement from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the value of the country's social logistics hit 121.2 trillion yuan (about USD18.72 trillion) in the period, augmenting 17.5 percent year on year.

The statement revealed that the average expansion rate of the January-May period in 2020 and 2021 reached 7.2 percent.

According to the statement, the combined income of the logistics sector made up 4.6 trillion yuan in the first five months, increasing 31.4 percent annually.
