(MENAFN)China's main bicycle producers saw burly performance in the first four months of 2021, with their combined profit and income both posting double-digit expansion, official statistics showed.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), bike producers with yearly operating income of more than 20 million yuan (about USD3.13 million) raked in 2.28 billion yuan in profits in the January-April period, it augmented 75.8 percent year on year.
MIIT statistics revealed that the joint operating income of the firms increased 58.3 percent over one year earlier to 64.09 billion yuan.
In breakdown, the total profit derived from the two-wheeled bike manufacturing of the companies augmented 198.9 percent year on year, while that for electric bike manufacturing posted 5.5 percent yearly development.
