Turkish Airlines to be mentioned for 2nd time as most appreciated brand


(MENAFN)A survey published by a leading independent valuation and strategy consultancy stated that National flag carrier Turkish Airlines was mentioned for the second time as Turkey’s most appreciated brand for this year.


According to the Brand Finance survey, the airline took the lead in the list of Top 100 Turkish Brands 2021 for the fifth times consecutively to reach a value of USD1.61 billion, decreasing 18.7 percent from 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.


Appliance giant Arcelik was the next, standing at 24.6 percent yearly worth expansion to reach USD1.59 billion in current year.


Private lender Isbank jumped five places in 2021 to take the third place, increasing its brand worth 25.3 percent to at least USD1.19 billion.


To round out the top 10 were private lender Garanti BBVA reached (USD1.19 billion), telecommunications giant Turkcell (USD1.06 billion), state lender Ziraat Bank (USD952 million), private lenders Akbank (USD917 million), and Yapi Kredi (USD836 million), GSM company Turk Telekom (USD789 billion), and automaker Ford Otosan (USD787 million).
