US jobs figures decline far short of estimates

(MENAFN) The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that only 266,000 jobs were included last months and the jobless rate rose to 6.1 percent.

It stated a hiring spree amongst leisure and hospitality companies was counterbalanced by dropping courier numbers.

Overall, 9.8 million stayed jobless.

In February last months, before curfew obligated millions into being jobless, 5.7 million people were unemployed.
