Pakistan's religious party urges Muslims to remember Palestinians in their prayers

(MENAFN)According to chief Siraj-ul-Haq , Pakistan's religious party Jamaat-e-Islami is going to detect the coming two Fridays as Palestine Solidarity Day.

Haq urged the nation and religious scholars to mention and pray for Palestinians in their prayers in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

He further declared that "I appeal to Pakistani clerics to highlight Zionist brutalities against the innocent Palestinian Muslims in Friday sermons in mosques and create awareness among the people about the first Qibla of Islam."

The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is detected as "Jerusalem Day" in a number of countries every year, including Pakistan, to condemn Israel's 1968 occupation of Jerusalem.
