Saudi airbase struck by Houthis attack


(MENAFN) King Khalid Airbase in Saudi Arabia's southwestern city of Khamis Mushait with was hit by a Houthis bomb-laden drone before dawn on Sunday, according to the rebel group.


Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported that "The hit was accurate."


"The Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a Houthi bomb drone aimed at the kingdom's south,” Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV said in a statement.

This was the fifth reported attack aimed at Saudi cities in nearly a week.
