1960 -- The Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issues decree to establish the Legislation and Fatwa Department, tasked with reviewing draft laws, regulations and decisions made by various government entities and validity of these actions in accordance with Kuwait Constitution.
2002 -- Kuwait dominates the Second West Asia Games, with 71 medals; 31 of which gold.
2019 -- The International Bank honors Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his role in supporting economic and social development regionally and internationally. (end)
