ALGIERS, March 5 (KUNA) -- Algeria's Ministry of Health said on Friday that five patients died from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 187 people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
The total infections rose to 113,948 and death toll to 3,007 Dr. Djamel Fourar, spokesperson for COVID-19 Monitoring Committee, said in a news conference.
The total recoveries rose by 152 to 78,824 he added, pointing to 19 patients at intensive care units. (end)
