Ukraine's grain exports reduced by almost 8M tonnes


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Between June 1, 2020 (the beginning of the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY)) and February 12, 2021, Ukraine exported 30.12 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 7.8 million tonnes less compared to the same period last year, according to the Information and Analytical Portal of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Ukraine.

In particular, Ukraine exported 13.194 million tonnes of wheat (-2.9 million tonnes compared to the same period last year); 3.955 million tonnes of barely (+48 thousand tonnes); 12.459 million tonnes of corn (-5 million tonnes); and 1.7 thousand tonnes of rye (-3.3 thousand tonnes).

In addition, Ukraine exported 88.7 thousand tonnes of wheat flour, which is 146.3 thousand tonnes less compared to the same period last year.
