Saudi- KSrelief Continues Implementing Water and Environmental Sanitation Project in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Hodeidah, January 19 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the water and environmental sanitation project to preserve the lives of families in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen.
During December 2020, 1,443,000 liters of drinking water and 1,313,000 liters non-drinking water were pumped to the tanks. The KSrelief also transferred waste and wastewater from the camps to their disposal sites, continued maintenance of tanks and bathrooms, and implemented spray campaigns to combat disease vectors.
The project comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people to improve their living conditions during the current humanitarian crisis.
