Turkish summer resort remains hotspot for British tourists


(MENAFN)A Turkish summer resort region on the Mediterranean, Mugla lingered a hotspot for British tourists in spite of the pandemic.

The region includes some of Turkey's best-known resorts such as Marmaris, Bodrum, Dalaman, Koycegiz, and Datca, which British tourists prefer.

Out of almost 700,000 tourists who came to the province in last year, about 310,000 were British, followed by Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, and Germans, declared the data shared by tourism authorities in Mugla.

Mugla is a well-established destination for British tourists, stated, Bulent Bulbuloglu, a prominent representative of the region's tourism industry, according to Anadolu Agency.
