BAGHDAD, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- Iraq's coronavirus deaths increased by eight as the daily confirmed cases rose by 669, the health ministry said on Friday.
This brings the caseload across the country's provinces, including the Kurdistan Region, to 601,424 as the death toll hit 12,877, a ministry statement read.
On the other hand, a total 553,025 people have been cured of the virus. (end)
