(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, July 23 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Health authorities reported on Thursday three deaths and 596 new cases of Coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a press statement that three deaths were recorded in Al-khalil Governorate, raising the number of deaths to 70, adding that the total number of infections was 11,875.
It pointed out that Jerusalem is witnessing a noticeable increase in the number of infections, where 306 cases were recorded, 167 in Al-Khalil, 48 in Nablus Governorate, and other cases in the governorates of Jenin, Salfit, Qalqilya, Al Aghwar, Tubas, and Tulkarm.
The ministry indicated that 16 cases are in intensive care rooms, including five cases connected to respirators. (end)
