Algeria to position objected lockdown procedures in opposition to Coronavirus


(MENAFN) On Monday July 6 Abderrahman Benbouzid Algerian Health Minister stated that a regeneration of countrywide lockdown "is not on the agenda right now," excluding the government will decide "a targeted lockdown" in regions with an important increase in Coronavirus cases.

Benbouzid stated in a press conference that "The failure to comply with precautionary and preventive measures", were amid many reasons for the return of cases in Algeria.

From On Monday July 6, Algeria had 16,404 corroborated cases with 959 deceases.

The country accounted that the first contagion with the Coronavirus on February 25, an Italian national who was consequently sent reverse home.
