COVID-19 cases in Senegal climb to 3,161


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Senegalese Ministry of Health and Social Action affirmed the existence of 31 new coronavirus cases, increasing the overall number of people tested positive for the virus in the country to 3,161.

Senegalese health minister Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr affirmed at the daily briefing that a total of 551 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the nation over the past day, 31 of them returned with positive results.

As many as 50 cases have made a full recovery, increasing the overall number of cured patients to 1,565, Sarr added.
