Brunei reports one new COVID-19 case, 5 more relapse cases

Health authorities in Brunei said that one more patient was diagnosed with coronavirus in the country on Saturday, breaking the seven day record of no newly registered cases of the disease in the country, increasing the total number of confrimed coronavirus cases in Brunei to 137.

The health ministry of the country said that the new case is a 31 years old woman who is the spouse of the 109th reported case in the country, she does not have any history of travelling to outside the country and hasnt shown any signs of infection.

The ministry said that one more patient has been succefully treated from the disease, which has increased the number of patients who have recovered to a total of 113, five more cases however have relapsed, and they were put back in the National Isolation Center on Saturday, which increased the total repalse cases to 16.

The health ministry said that "Today's new case proves that our country is still under the threat of the COVID-19 outbreak and that we need to remain vigilant and not to be complacent and always obey the directives and advice issued by the government".
