4,117 new COVID-19 cases, 87 more deaths in Turkey


(MENAFN) 4,117 new coronavirus infections and 87 more fatalities from coronavirus were recorded in Turkey, according to Turkish health Minister Fahrettin Koca on Wednesday.


As said by Koca, the total number of registered coronavirus cases in Turkey increased to 38,226, while the fatalities grew to 812.


He said that, Turkey did as many as 24,900 examinations for the COVID-19 in the last day, taking the total number of tests carried out until now to 247,768.


1,846 patients have cured since the coronavirus pandemic in Turkey, while 1,492 patients are being treated at the intensive care units and 995 others being intubated, as the minister said.
