Jordan- PSD denies reports alleging tackling coronavirus cases in Marj Hamam neighborhood

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 21 (Petra)- The media spokesperson of the Public Security Department (PSD) on Saturday dismissed reports that alleged the PSD personnel have dealt with a number of coronavirus cases in Marj Hamam district in the capital, Amman.
The media spokesperson said these reports are "rumors and baseless," adding the official authorities announce all developments related to the virus and the number of infected cases.
The spokesperson called on citizens to comply with the law and refrain from publishing rumors and unreliable news under legal liability.
What is being circulated in other videos that show people who are treated while they are on the public street, are for illness cases that are being dealt with constantly and have nothing to do with coronavirus, the spokesperson pointed out.
