Czech Republic sees low jobless rate in last quarter of 2019

Survey data released by the Czech Statistical Office on Monday said that the jobless rate in the Czech Republic came in at 2.1 percent in the final quarter of the earlier year 2019, staying at a low level.
The country saw 109,300 people without jobs in the quarter, a drop of 1,800 in comparison to the same quarter of a year earlier in 2018, the number of people who have been without jobs for more than a year dropped 3,800 since the past year to set at 31,100 people.
The CSU said that the Czech Republic still has some of the most self-employed people in the total workforce in the European Union (EU), adding that most self employed people are in financial and insurance, construction, information technology, and real estate.
