Saudi Press: KSA Promotes Values and Principles of Human Rights


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, December 15, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's relentless pursuit to achieve and implement the principles and values of human rights is confirmed by its fulfillment of the international obligations to protect and promote human rights to which it has become a party within the 36 countries that has committed to, out of 197 countries. The paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has issued about 60 human rights reform decisions, of which 22 have obtained women's empowerment decisions.
Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Saudi economy is witnessing advanced successes for sustainable transformation through diversification of non-oil resources, raising the efficiency of spending, and entering key sectors into production, registering increasing numbers in the gross domestic product. The paper added that the Kingdom's trillion budget focused on spending the sectors of education, health and social protection, as well as major development projects in various sectors, in which translate the wise leadership directives to raise the levels of quality of life for the citizen, within the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
