Qatar- Ministry of Administrative Development celebrates graduation of Leadership Position Programme


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs yesterday celebrated the graduation of the fourth class of the programme of developing skills of those who occupy leadership and supervision positions in government bodies.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, H E Yousuf bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo, representatives of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, Assistant Undersecretaries, Heads of Department in the Ministry and the graduates.

H E the Minister affirmed that the launching of the program of leadership and supervisory positions came under the directives of Prime Minister and Interior Minister, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, in order to support Qatari leaders to fulfill their tasks and responsibilities, especially with regard to the implementation of the pillars of the National Vision 2030 and successive development strategies, pointing out that this program is in line with Qatar's long-established policy of making human beings the focus of attention.

H E Yousuf bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo said that work to develop human capital and national leaders is the ultimate investment to serve the nation. He extended thanks to the graduates for their participation in the ten workshops of the one-year-programme.

The Minister called on the graduates to urge their subordinates to enroll in the annual programs of the Institute of Public Administration for 2020, which comprises a variety of new training programs that meet the needs of government employees in Qatar in both administrative and specialised tracks, for its direct benefit to their performance, as well as being a prerequisite for employee promotion.
