Road accident kills 8 in Nigeria's Kogi


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Nigeria's road safety police emphasized that as many as eight people were murdered as a result of a deadly accident in the central state of Kogi.

Seven others were wounded after the accident on Monday in Felele area of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi, said Emmanuel Abe, a commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

A petrol tanker, three cars, four tricycles, and two motorcycles involved in the acceded, Abe stated.

The driver of the petrol tanker had lost control after a brake failure and hit into other vehicles, murder as many as eight people directly, according to the official.
