(MENAFN) On Monday, a two-story classroom in Kenya's capital Nairobi collapsed when the students were inside the building, and caused death to seven of them, officials stated.
The spokesman for the government, Cyrus Oguna emphasized that the students at Precious Talent School were attending their classes when the building collapsed to entrap the students on the ground floor of the private school.
He added, "Following the collapse, there have been 57 students taken to a hospital for treatment, and we can also confirm that there are seven fatalities".
Oguna also stated that the government will pay for the hospital where the students were sent to.
