The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said that Chinese liquor-making enterprises above the designated size had a total revenue of USD68.57 billion in the starting 7 months of this year.
The ministry said that the reading increased 7.3 percent in comparison with the same period of the past year.
In the period, profits of the 2,122 producers added 19.1 percent since the past year to reach USD13.40 billion.
Output of Chinese liquor-making enterprises over the designated size reached 4.56 million kiloliters in the first seven months, an increase of 1.1 percent year on year.
