FM: Jordanian engineers injured during attack in Kazakhstan are in good condition


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 30 (Petra) - Jordanian engineers, working with the Consolidated ContractorsCompany (CCC) in Nurstlan (Astana), Republic of Kazakhstan are in good conditions and still receiving medical treatment from the Kazakh authorities, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
Jordan's ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yousuf Abdul Ghani, has arrived Sunday to the Kazakh Atyrau Region, to follow up on the attacked Jordanian engineers, the ministry added.
The ambassador visited the Jordanian engineers, checked on their conditions, and announced they are in good conditions and still receiving medical care .
A group of Jordanian engineers working the CCC in Kazakhstan sustained minor injuries on late Saturday after they, along with other Arab nationals, were attacked by local employees working on the company's camp in Tengiz city, about 2200 km away from the capital, Nurstlan," due to a "personal dispute" between an Arab engineer and a local Kazakh, the ministry announced on Saturday.
