After completing her medical school and residency, Dr. Kadisha completed fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, under the team physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. She holds an MD degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and her emergency room residency was at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
